H-E-B Austin Symphony July 4th Concert & Fireworks

This, community-wide, free to the public, family-friendly 4th of July event is put on by your Austin Symphony Orchestra with support from the City of Austin and our generous event sponsors.


Spend this Independence Day with your family and friends, decked out in red, white and blue. Head down to Vic Mathias Shores (formerly Auditorium Shores) this July 4th for an amazing event complete with a fireworks display over the city skyline backed by symphonic patriotic classics. This event is planned, produced, and performed entirely by the Austin Symphony Orchestra, with the help of its generous sponsors. The festivities begin at 8 p.m. with Master of Ceremonies welcoming dignitaries and special guest. Concert begins at 8:30 p.m., followed by “mile-high” fireworks. The event is free and open to the public.

Pre-event:
Pre-main event performances on the Long Center’s new 3D printed pavilion are for ticketed guests sitting at VIP Terrace Tables and VIP Lawn. Tickets are still available and can be purchased below. 
5:00 pm to 5:30 pm - Anna Macias Fiddlers
6:00 pm to 6:30 pm – Lurleen Ladd
7:00 pm to 7:30 pm – Austin Soundwaves

Main Event:
8:00 p.m.: Master of Ceremonies welcomes crowd and special guests.
8:30 p.m.: Concert begins followed by fireworks

Tune into
Majic 95.5 FM at approximately 9:30PM to hear a live simulcast of the music with the fireworks!
